Currently in the medical engineering field, Tanzania wanted to diversify her income, and create a passive income stream. After researching different ways to bring in passive income, real estate investing was the best path. Now, Tanzania is working through her deals, and learning about contractor management, rehab timelines, and gaining experience listing the projects with her newly acquired realtor license!
Deal #1: Wauwatosa Flip
Just a few months after joining the program, Tanzania found her first deal! This deal came to her through a connection made with a local realtor. They were able to lock this project up before hitting the market. Through this deal, Tanzania learned a lot about working with contractors, and working within the current market.
Deal #2: Milwaukee Flip
While in the middle of her first deal, Tanzania was able to lock up the second deal. Using direct mail marketing, she connected with a son who inherited his mother's house, and is now ready to sell. She was able to apply some lessons learned when deal with contractors to this second deal. Also - learning the steps that need to be taken to change up the floorplan. The project turned out great, and had many offers over asking.
